Hi anybody know if there is a winch bullbar out there to fit my VZN185 surf? & if 31s are the biggest I can go without a lift? cheers.

If it has factory SRS bags you will need an airbag compatible unit. ARB , TJM and Eastcoast come to mind. Also try smartbar.

ARB don't and neither do ECB. ARB do one for a 95 series prado which is very similar and can be made to fit a 185 surf but doesn't fit 100% and the airbag sensors are a bit different. The TJM T15 bar is pretty much the only one you can get here or aussie unless go get one via the states.

I should correct what I said, yes you can get ARB air bag compatiable ones that fit a 185 surf. But you can't modify the mounts to suit a body lift, but there are means and ways around it.

A friend has one with a body lift and beam axle conversion with ARB bar and air bag's.

Yea roger that, thats my reason for looking out for the correct bar, rather than altering one off something else. thanks

Depends on how much of it you can do yourself, have a search these a few good threads on it.

Beam axle is a much bigger job on a 185 than an earlier surf due to passenger side transfer drop and rack and pinion steering.
