Wanted Sparto lens for landrover

Post by Bulletproof »

I am missing one front side light lens on my 1958 series 2 landrover.

It is a Sparto lens part No 5835. It is written on it.

It looks like this. If any one has one I am willing to pay up to $50 for a little piece of plastic.

Here is a photo and it has to be exactly the same.

Did the "pork pie" (or whatever they were called  ) not get used on your model? Were they a series one only lens?

Just curious about these older wagons  . Love the look of the older wagons and its hard to find details unless you happen apon a "rover spotter in an anorack" and then they can be hard work to open up.

I have now got the front side light lenses but could do with more Sparto indicator lenses.

They look like this with Sparto written at the end
