Do 80 series' not have the vac pump drive on the alternator? or are you going to butcher the 2 together?

don't worry got a couple now

the diodes were fried, so it was not overly fixable

no they don't have a vacuum, or at least mine didn't, everyone is telling me diesels do but mine doesn't

mate had one and scored one at pick a part today off a windom

cheap as chips

oh fuk

I was wrong, the surf one whilst looking similar didn't line up with the bracket

So found a windom one at pick a part, but the pulley shaft was bigger than my pulley

Scored a couple more from one of my customers today, so will see if any of those are any better

Otherwise, never fear coz I stopped at my mate who does parts for Toyota for a price on a new one

picked myself up off the floor then thanked him once again for his extraordinary prices

so yeah if nothing else works I can get a brand new toyota one that outputs 60amp for $3300 +gst

or the 100amp output one for $4200 + gst

sweeeeeeeeeeeeet :? :?

   F*&K me   Does that come with a new engine attached??????? or are they super dupe never fail or burn out diodes new fnagled model????????
I only paid about $300 or so for a Terrano one couple years back from Ripco

You could always get your pulley machined to fit the Windom one if the brackets are right, or $4200 buys a lot of machine time to alter the brackets
