the surf way is the ceapest that way you get it up & running & a coil rear end do a prado sas later on ,buy a rolled kzn 130 with a 1kzte in it whip the bent body of & drop on your lux body.

this is still going to be a working ute, i dont know if a coiled rear will handle the loads.

i have found a ln106 chassis but he wants $1000 for it, is this worth it or is that what they are worth

Ive got one from a LWB 65 single cab Lux, its in mint condition, Its been rust killed and primed the only thing is i hacked off the engine mounts to fit the 1UZ then i found a 130 SAS'd chassis so didnt bother using it.

what is the difference between a short and long wheel base,
and s/c and d/c

hey mate,yeh new truck is a double cab but my brother n law has a chasis at the mo,think it was once a ln61 surf but has had a falcon rear conversion and the front end has had sas conversion with the rears put up front,they just need the tubes welded into the chasis,can put you in contact with him if ya want,think he wanted bout 3-400 to cover costs
1990 surf 350 chevy jacked up and currently under construction again

not at this stage want to see what is out there would prefer an unmodded chassis
