Body Lift Block suppliers?

Post by Chops4wd »

Can anybody reccomend a good place to buy body lift blocks prefer in Dunedin, or other places? Also what is the best type of block to get? Its only for a SJ410 Ute cab so not too heavy, and looking at going approx 50mm higher.

UHMWPE is the best stuff to use.

Try these people...i got some from there CHCH branch.
They might even be able to cut it to length & drill the bolt hole

I dont know of any places in dunedin but theres a guy on trademe who sells them you could try him, or most places that deal in industrial plastics will have the diameter rod you need and will cut it to the 50mm blocks then just drill your holes.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

If the body bolts are similar to other sj zuks there is most likely some captive studs that protrude down. Blocks alone won't work unless you use some form of long nut or rangi it up with a piece of rhs and use an extra bolt. Can also remove the captive stud and put in new bolts.
Can be a bit of work on the hardtop sj's so may be worth checking out on your ute perhaps.

And yeah uhmwpe is the best stuff if you go down that road. Can be sourced at a reasonable price.
