wanted toyota 4y

have a mate who has a cool little 4x4 and it has a toyota 4y in it
last week it went bang so on the look out for a new motor
would like something in the mid to lower north island

what about a mint 3y? i have receipts of a rebuid a few years back, doesnt do too many ks, its a mint fautless runner, maybe he could change the good bits over from his 4y, its got elec timing

hi mate did you end up finding one. i got given a 4y that was still running but removed for a motor conversion. I am in auckland. I would rather it went to someone who could use it instead of going to scrap.
