Surf front diff

Am pulling the front diff out of my 96 surf to do the seals, was humming and haring about putting a front locker in it but it's probably not justifiable I'd hate to think what they're worth. Is there an lsd out of other vehicles that fits the front diff? Cheers in advance.

That will depend on weather or not you have a kzn185 model surf, or an earlier one (96 was a cross over year). The kzn unit has a reverse cut 7.5" diff head that can't be swapped with earlier ones.

Bugger yea its a kzn185, shudder to think what a locker is worth.

Not that much more than any equivalent unit for an IFS diff head.
