Where to buy? - 130 surf rear trailing arm bushes

Post by UBZ »

Anyone got recommendations on where in Auckland i can purchase new lower trailing arm Bushes for the rear of my KZN-130 Surf?

After some that will flex like the factory rubber ones and not super stiff like nolathanes.

Cheers C.

I got some Zuk ones from:

Suspension Autoparts Specialists (SAS)
North Shore City Shock Absorbers
11 Silverfield, Wairau Valley, North Shore City 627
(09) 444-1390

I can't remember the brand i got off them, but it was a good comprimise between rubber and nolathane.

Yeah they are the crowd I use down here. They flex pretty good and don't crumble like nolathane. it was some other......ane preoduct.

Went to SAS in New Lynn . Awesome service.
Only had poly bushes on the shelf , but the guys measured them up and found that HiAce upper rear bushs were the same size , availible in sleeve encased rubber and cheaper than poly :D

Hardest part was finding someone to press them in on a Saturday morning.

But WOW what a difference in handling , especially at highway speeds. Will be replacing upper arm bushes in the near future.
