Apart from Cardwells in Auckland. (think they only sell in full lengths but am going to phone Tuesday)

Where can I buy a short length of Chrome Moly tube. In Jaffa land...

1 inch ID, 1.25 OD, .125 wall ??

Only need a 1m give or take..

Thanks, Forgot about Advanced Four Wheel Equipment.
Dropped in on my way to work today and got a bit.
They had heaps of shorts of various sizes.
Had one just right for me.

Price was good. Paid for 2 ft but got 3.

Said if anyone wanted short ends and was prepared to rumage thru the bits bin, they would do a good price.

My fix it job is now complete.
Bent a tie rod on the Prado, replaced it and slipped over the Chrome Moly tube. (protection, stone gaurd )

Need to check with my WOF man, but it should be good as I haven't modified anything, only slipped over the pipe.

No welding involved or cutting....original still there !
