Help with body lift

Post by scooby88 »

I need to do a 2" bodylift, Does anyone know EXACT size of new bolts needed? I'd rather get all parts before separating truck and chassis.

Thanks

exactly 2 inchs longer than whats in there now?? i think on those surfs there are 2 different lenghts depending on where they are.....

go round one side and pull them out one by one and measure then put back in untill your ready to do the lift :)
i used to Cruise, now i PATROL

2" longer - smart answer! Would rather not have to do it twice, but see how we go.

Should be same lengths as my KZN130 with a 50mm lift.
M10 4 x 140 mm
M10 2 x 130 mm
M10 4 x 185 mm
Plus nyloc washers.
All grade 8.8 minimum

Use the original washers ... put bolt in a vice & tap them off.

I got these lengths by adding 50mm to the existing bolts which i still have.

Here is a link to give you an idea what what to do if you dont already know

Make sure that when you lower the radiator to line up with the fan shroud its not lower than the engine as you might get an air lock.
