KZN130 surf question - interior lights

are these supposed to have lights on the bit of trim around the auto trans shifter? so you can see what gear you're in at night?

Don't want to **** around for an hour or so just to find out it doesn't.

Mine doesnt... but saying that possibly the bulbs are blown.

yep there is one capless bulb, probably 5 watt
Mine used to work but cant be arsed getting in there to replace it

there's ants coming out from the console round the shifter so i guess i can't really put it off any longer
