7m conversion with auto?

Hey guys ive done some searching but cant find much, ive got a ln61 with the 3ye and auto box. what i want to know is will a 7m or 5m motor bolt up to the auto trans and handle the power? and ive heard the supra swap only fits the diesel engine mounts, is this correct?

from what I have found out with doing a lexus conversion on my truck (3ye auto surf) the gearbox and transfercase is a random piece of shit that nothing bolts up to lol. Others will know more than me though. Did you find Jafa's thread? Cant remember what his truck was originally but he did a real tidy conversion.

ill have a look now, did he go for a auto? by the way what kind of fuel milage was your old 3ye getting? im on 33s and it just drinks like a alcoholic figured if it guna drink may as well have some thing with power as well

i just love autos so much, dont know about having 52 gears lol,
and if a m series engine fits to the auto i can do the dual trannys later..

don't quote me but the M series bolts to the L series mounts and gearbox with out fabrication just fiddling with clutch and pressure plate
