WTD: 15x10 white steel rims - six stud -44 offset I think.

Post by Swamped »

Need more rims for my patrol. Trying to source some that don't need to be machined to fit which is what the two suppliers have told me.
North isl preferred.
For road use so tidy will be nice but could repaint if needed.

Pm if you can help

Cheers

how do we know what rims will fit if two suppliers have already said theres wont?

and why wont they?

i know that some of the calipers rubbed due to the casting edges just catching the rims. i thought that with a bit of a small grind the rims fitted. more so the fronts than the back

I own a pair that fit straight off, thats how I know. The two suppliers I know of, one said the centers are too small for patrols, the other said the calipers drag (two different sources of steel wheels even though they look the same)
Neither of which are a problem on my current ones which were gotten from one of the two suppliers a couple years back.

I'm posting this for if anyone has old second hand ones they are interested in parting with that I can check out or ask said person to measure certain dimensions if possible.

I just sold a set of cruiser 15x10s for $460 an apparently you can buy them for $449 from mag an tyre direct  They fitted my 80 series rear diff but they were a little tight going over the hub on the patrol front diff, but not so tight you have much trouble getting them on or off. -44 offset rims should fit withou any much trouble at all even if they are for a cruiser
Didn't barbie drive a jeep??

Itl be center ID to make sure it clears the hubs and shoulders on the rear discs.

Probably also need the ID on the main surface of the wheel (between the beads)

Gotta try find where they might bind. I'll try get a pic of mine and stick all the dimensions up.

Thanks.
