electrical problems can anyone HELP????

Hay guys

got my new 2lt in today in to my ln61 BUT......

have a few problems..

1...glow plug light is turning on but off straight away
sounds like the timer itself is doing the same thing

2...temp is reading quarter way when it hasn't even started yet

3...fuel is reading half when i do not believe there is any

can anyone help me out on what it could be wrong
when i got the truck it had no motor

also if someone could put pics up of where the vac lines run


any help will be good

what engine was originally in there? another 2lt?
