2l-t/2l-te alternator question.

Does anyone know off the top of their brain if a 2l-t alternator will fit onto a 2l-te engine? I suspect it probably won't? Cheers. Daniel.

its been about a year since ive seen them but my gut says no they're different

As far as I know they do. I swapped my 2L-T alternator onto my new 2L-TE when I replaced my motor. I just had to change the mounting brackets over, just make sure the plugs are also the same, as Iv just put a new alternator on again and the plug was different (it worked if i just rammed them together :lol:

but thats a different story).
