fitting winch to 87 hilux

hey does any one have any idea if u need to fit an after market bull bar to a 87 ln65 hilux to fit a winch. if not do u need to buy brackets to fit the winch?

You'll need some kind of bracket, doesn't need to be a bullbar but one would offer good protection.

Chances are you will have to build something. Pretty simple to do. Where bouts are you?

Im also very interested in doing this at the momment. some bars are well over 1k to buy esp when im just after something simple with some bar work along the top and sides. just wanna get the winch on and running !!

I whacked mine up out of some junk steel I had laying around in the garage, might give you some ideas
