looks like there's around 20 people with each model year on this site entering their fuel usage details.
click the top left corner for different units/look up there to take note what units it's in. US miles per gallon sounds better that UK miles per gallon. litres per hundy is what you want though hah.
may give you an idea.
pretty cool when you see the number of kilometres tracked over each model year.

My 99 TJ Wrangler Sport , Soft top, on 33's, Throttle body spacer, headers and 2.5 inch exhaust , with straight through muffler, hi lift jack strapped to the front bumper, just did 537ks (GPS not speedo) on 90.77 litres of force 10 from Gull, mixture of town and open road driving, over a bloody big hill with lots of corners to work. Worked out to around 16.9 litres / hundred ks, but like Phraza said best vehicle I ever owned,, go jeep, drives past anything except a gas station Yeeee ha
Yea, though I drive through the valley of death (and it's mudbogs), I shall fear no trail;for tho art modified is my rig, and thy lift kit and lockers they comfort me. Amen

Thanks for all replies so far....looks like the 33's kill economy, I'm not into serious 4x4ing so will prob run something close to standard...previous experience with a GQ Safari I put on 33's went from 600 to a tank down to 450 :|

Yeah but you got to think when you put bigger tires on your speedo will out, so get that re calibrated, and then see how they affect your fuel economy

Been having a nosey around ECU's.

http://www.mapecu.com/

there is a testimonial on the left hand side saying they got an extra 100 km's once the Map ECU2 was tuned...

Might put one of these on my list of things to buy!
