Finishing off the wiring on my conversion...
Anyone know where the relay is for the front diff vaccuum stuff?
Had a pretty good poke around under the dash and couldn't find it.

never looked under a surf bonnet but its probably on the firewall or inner guard or something I'd doubt it would be inside the cab

Its a brown box labeled 4wd Computer.
In in my KZN130W you take off a small storge hole just in front of the Auto gear stick & below the ash tray & its in there.

Ahh. Had a look in there, all I could find was the Air Con amplifier, which I promptly tore out and threw in the pile of other aircon stuff.
By the sounds of things, there were quite a few possible locations

Mine is a 1994 ..i dont have the aircon box ...mine is done another way ...so your ADD is prob in a diff place too

Yeah had a pretty good browse around toyodiy, still couldn't find it.
Did some more googling and located it - it's on the brake pedal brace on the firewall, marked "Fuel Pump Relay" 1992 Surf Automatic, for anyone who finds this later.
Promptly f*cked with the wiring and got it stuck in 4wd. Good times.
