Sea spray

IS IT WORTH TREATING RUST FROM SEA SPRAY?

Upgrading my LN61 for something newer. Looking at a pretty good KZN130, but it's been kept not far from the beach. The front of the car was facing the water and is a bit rusty. The back is in immaculate condition. The doors have a bit of rust coming from inside. Nothing major and can be treated, but I'm worried that it's going to continue rusting at an accelerated pace in other areas.

you sure you don't want to shop around and find one thats not rusty? Typically there is always far more rust than you can actually see and failing a full strip back and treating and painting everything its always going to come back and bite you.

Depends how bad it is i guess but rust is like cancer.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!

Couldnt agree more...best to shop around, rust in the doors usually means to me that the rust has taken hold.
