Escudo catalytic converter overheating light?

Post by SimonnomiS »

I have a light on my dash that I am pretty sure is cat overheat light. What I want to know is can it do any harm or do I ignore it? It flickers a bit and goes dimmer then brighter, not really specific to going brighter under acceleration just happens randomly.

Would be keen to hear from anyone in the know...

Im unsure whether to replace the exhaust or what...

The light on the dash is telling you that the cat is faulty.Either get new cat or get rid of it!!!

Took it in to pit stop and they reckon the mufflers f##ked and the cat. Going to get new muffler and straight pipe to replace the cat. $350. Sounds fair
