1uz vvti

Post by rotordogg »

Ok, anyone on here running a 1uz vvti??
can they be run on a standard computer without all the security and proper key etc??

From what I've read arround the net you need key, imobiliser, key scanner etc, but some people say it can be bypassed they just won't say how it's done!!

any info welcome...

Kelvin at the cartune company in hamilton can wire them up on the factory ecu, far as i know he's the only one in NZ doing it.

I do know of a guy who wired his himself and got it to run but it mysteriously stopped a couple of weeks later, so he sent it to kelvin.

Thanks guy's, aware of cartune company, they seam to have a mixed review on the car forums so looking at what other options are arround too...

It's going into a tube frame truck, will put up info when I'm allowed too...

Also looking at buying a vvti front cut for myself later on to go into my surf, would like to play with the wiring in the complete front cut myself and see if I can get it to work without the security crap...
