89 v6 terrano ecu

so my ecu got wet cos its in a dumb place. dose anyone know of a spare one laying around or dose anyone know of a way around it cos im having difficultly finding a new 1.
truck is to good to wreck so im getting pretty desperate here

any help much appreciated

have you dried it out in hot water cupboard for a few days?

Have you tried the wreckers.
I don't know your location but the commercial and 4x4 wreckers in Hamilton and Rotorua have a lot of eng and trany computers on their shelves.

Short of this. If you know of an approachable tv type technician they definitely have the kind of knowledge needed to find the faulty components and repair.
I'm in Tga and a cpl years back had an ecu repaired for an old Mitsi V3000. No probs after that.
When it comes to the Auto computers they are all just that, computers, be it 4wd or road only cars, or Motorbikes.

ECU from a early v6 maxima also.
