in my 1989 toyota surf ln130 2lt (not efi) there is no hose going into under the turbo pressure sensor and when i plug the switch in the engine cuts out, any ideas to how to fix this?. the turbo light on the dash comes on when the key is in the on position but not when your driving, ive looked around but could only find all the vacuum diagrams for the efi one
Thanks
Sam

Re: Vacuum hoses, turbo pressure switch problem
the vac lines are not hooked up right.
looks like boost line from manifold is going to a vsv instead of injection pump. can you get a pic of the injection pump lines.
look like egr is blocked off.
you don't actually need the boost sensor to be working. its only for the emissions system which is blocked off.

Re: Vacuum hoses, turbo pressure switch problem
no idea.
probably better to blank the red and green lights out and fit a proper boost gauge.
