Sorry folks. But I'm keeping them.
Turned out it was too hard to get rubber for the 16X10 inch rims that would pass cert.
To get cert, "the rims have to match the tyres specs".
I've been in touch with the Cert guy here in Chch and they are now very strict with tyres to rim size ratio. The rim MUST match the tyre specs.
It's as simple as that.
This has come about because of the boy racers putting way undersize width tyres on wide rims, better for drifting I guess. So now we all suffer.
