Toyota LN130 dash gauges wiring and removal questions

Post by Mattman »

Anyone have a wiring diagram for an LN130? I want to wire my Link ecu to feed the factory rev counter on the EFI 4cyl gauge cluster I am going to fit.

Also anyone know how to remove the connectors including the speedo drive from the back of the cluster? I have everything unbolted but the cluster doesn't move far enough forward for me to reach the back and undo the connectors.

There is no way to reach up behind either - I can't see how you would get these off.

Cheers
Matt.

you have to go into the engine bay and lossen the bolt on the fire wall that holds the speedo cable cable in place. then feed some of into the cabin. there isnt much space to get your arm in there but there a three/ four plugs along top. each has a clip you push down in the middle and they will pop out. as for speedo speedo cable, there is a wee tab that you push while pulling on the cluster. getting it out is the easy part, have fun lining up the speedo when you put it back together!
