fuel pump

is there any easyer ways to get the fuel pump out of the tank, while the tank is still inplace.

becuase im not to keen on removing all the tank armor.

is this on your 1st gen paj? on my second gen i think i just folded up the back seats, pulled up the vinal floor, and undid the cover in the floor. then the top of the tank was exposed, so undid the bolts and pulled the pump through the floor.... it may be differant in 1st gens tho.

shes a second gen so sweet ill have a look under the seats.

cheers wacko for the info. that will save me time not having to emove the guard from the tank, it wieghts in about 30kg.

30kgs? :shock: wow.. glad i never got further than the 2 or so bolts i undid... :lol:
