just had a better look now
so most of the trimming is done to the outside edge of the wheel arch?
Did you cut and fit the flare to the rear door?
I know there aint much room there
did you leave a raw edge or fold it over again?
What wheels are you running? Offset?
What does your lift involve?
Transfer case drop? sye? New control arms? Regear?
Sorry for so many questions
ive never done this before and on limited budget so trying to get everything sorted first
Cheers

hi mate, yep cut around the wheel arch,
cut and fitted flares to back door
cut and folded the rear
kl71s 33x12.5 r15 rims -24 offset
will have to re gear, haven't noticed to much but haven't had it on open road yet..
no transfer case drop, no sye, if you go higher then that's when that needs doing i think..break lines are sweet..i was happy with it on 31s and it went alright, just went to 33s on a 3inch lift, cause some one said i couldn't do it

....give rick a call on 033651909 4wd accessories down here in ch ch , he knows his jeeps and sorted out my lift a couple of years ago
http://www.4wdaccessories.co.nz/ or
http://www.offroadspecialties.co.nz/cartup your way...
had to cert for lift now i have to cert it for bigger rubber, so if ya going to do it do it all at once...
hope some of that dribble made some sense
still have work to do on mine as tidy up and am going to bolt the flares on ....
cheers wayne

yeah thats what the yanks do to theres when running a small lift, will look into it , cheers mate, hows the battle going xj,they gonna play ball..
Not even talking to me now. The investigator asked for date of purchase, what mods were on it, what i have done since and the cost. Have supplied them with a spreadsheet on friday, after repeated calls yesterday and today still noone wants to talk to me.... seems theyre trying really hard to avoid me.

A dehumidifier works a treat. Just shut the doors and windows and the one I have will suck out litres of water depending on how wet the inside of the car is. I left mine in for a week and everything was bone dry.

nah, ill probably keep it as a tow wagon. looking at getting "something" not wof'd or reg'd, tearing it apart, throwing a cage over it and wheeling it like stolen....
Or building soething from scratch, I already have a wrangler chassis and tub, ive been offered dana 44 front and rear diffs with 5.56 ratios... but hell, its a lot of work to kick off from that.
dunno

, sick of playing nice though...
