Just wondering if any one in NZ has pulled off a body lift on a MU.
Details on how to go about it and what materials to use.

yea im doing one very soon ill write up how i did it pretty easy though!! on my mu theres two bolt holes ready from factory so the radiator can be dropped!!

you'll have to go buy nylon blocks that are as high as the lift you want and longer bolts and do one side at a time , havent done one mine was already done wen i brought it

its eazy as to lift ok now this might sound like pretty rough but it got certified at the hardest cert place in chch flew thru. remember to loosen all bolts before jackin it up. this might not be the best way to do it but it worked for me just jacking up one side at a time. theres 10 bolts in total all i used was 2 $12 nylon chopping boards from mitre ten run 60mm hole saw thru stack up to required lift height. u dont need longer bolts factory ones are tons long enuf for 55mm lift apart from 4 in the back from memory which are shorter than rest of body bolts. so just go grab some factry length ones off the body of another one and ur set. only thing i had to extend was the body retention brackets which i cut n den welded with $50 warehouse welder lol yeah i know it sounds ruf but it works the nylon doesnt compress the bolts hold the blocks hard on eachother and i sprayed them black to hide them a bit and bingo all certified. doesnt take long to do but remeber ur bumpers arent gonna line up i extended them again using my $50 welder and they are strong as.
