BJ40 wont turn off

Hi all just brought a nice BJ40 the vehicle wont turn off, im having to stall it.. i hate doing it.. Any suggestions what it could possibly be? thanks very much

What motor are you running??

bj denotes its a diesel..

it'll be the wee motor that controls the diesel injectors dude.. try gettin a new sucker.. when you turn her on and off you''ll see it doin a spastic dance or not move at all!! its the little lookin motor attached to the injectors by a small bit of bar....

can see the connecting bar runnin to the right...

found that motor, rod is very stiff. can move it by hand to the STOP posistion... dont know if thats normal.. can u fix it easy enough by taking it apart or something?
