Any ideas on the costing up of a 4inch lift on a SWB 94 prado

Chamberlains are a good choice, but unless you take your vehicle in to get custom springs made, you'd might as well buy from the closest shop.
I now run Dobinson coils (GQ), and have found a big difference between these and my old Tough Dogs.

Got the coils for $200pr as the original TD's were too stiff and Genie refused to sell me lighter ones because the heavy duty were recommended for my SWB so if going for TD's I would go through 4wd Concepts who seem to have better info. Will be picking up a set of Pro Comp shocks in oz next week which should make the handling even better ($125aus ea).

I would look into it carefully as there are a lot of choices with the rates,linear/progressive, and then you have to get the correct shocks to suit, then, if its like the swb Safari's, look as to whether or not you need adjustable panhards etc etc with this size lift

Yes Andrew, i would say you most definatly will need them for the 100mm lift.
You've seen how both my front and rear diffs are off set to the side after the lift, only by about 10 or 15mm but still noticeable if you look.

I would say you are usually batter off to go for the 50mm raised height spring.
Do some ringing around and see what is recommended.

Be aware, 4x4concepts are nissan specialists, so you may not get much sense out of them.

hey i have a set of 4 inch lift springs for a safari?? they were to high, i couldn't get into carparks. i don't have shocks thou. interested elevnteeen@hotmail.com
