Prado LJ71 Sunroof

Does anyone no where the water goes when water goes in around the sunroof. My has water up there and wont seems to escape. Need to know where the drain holes are and how to unblock.

Can anyone help?

how do ya get drain holes on a sunroof, I would of thought that would make it drain into the truck. :roll:

wouldn't most sunroofs be flat so the water just washes off the roof as if there was no sunroof there at all. :wink:

is yours leaking or is the water just ponding :?:

if its just ponding, then ya just have to drive faster :lol:

LOL. It seems that water is in the roof splashing around in a layer between the roof and inside. I can hear it when im driving going side to side. Someone once told me that there is drain holes that go down the pillars but i cant find them.

PS Ill try driving really really fast tonight :twisted:

you could take it West Coast Customs and they could turn your roof into a fish tank for you :roll:

complete with neons and a doof doof system and maybe a coffee maker and a water purifier :roll:

p.s. good luck removing the swimming pool from your roof

There will be a couple of drains in the front left and right corners of the s/roof. with the roof open or the glass out you should be able to see them easily. You can blast them with some compressed air and/or poke some wire down to unblock them. There may also be drains in the rear as well.
