WANTED ASAP!!! pajero 5.285 rear diff.

im in need of a 5.285 pajero rear diff. it will come from a 2.5diesel gen 2 model, most likely a jtop, but they are found in others. proving alot harder to find than anticipated, only found 1 on trade me and the guy wants $300 for it!!! im not that desperate! alternativly, a 4.875 will do. just means i will have more work chanding the gears over...

any help appreciated.

Sam, the 2.5 LWB auto imports all have 5.285's also. My one did anyway.

This will open your possibilities up a lot as there are many of these which are falling apart.

i asked questions on most of the auctions on trade me... most of them seem to be 4.8s. getting quite anoying. never mind.. ill find one in the end. you dont happen to know if the c/w and pinion are interchangeable between locker and open diff do you?

they will be i think, they are with toyotas, suzukis and nissans (thats the only ones ive changed and they all worked)

Hey mate did you find the diff head you want, I'm after some 4.8 heads and will be pulling the 5.2 heads out of mine when i find them.
Wrecker just quoted me $395 per diff head
