measuring help required

hi all,am just looking to see if theres a toyota drivehaft out there that measures about 850-900ish long (as per picture) that will fit a surf diff head stud pattern?would anyone be abe to measure there trucks and see if anythings close,im thinking crusier guys maybe able to help,2door surf 30mm to long,4door surf 100mm to long so mayb a hilux or crusier like i say,any help much appreciated

get the surf one and drop it to TRT in ham (talk nicely to Peter Aitkinsen)to get it shortened, bout 30 buks and your done :wink:

MWB Cruiser 825mm
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

hey wopass,yeh i got a gu here thatl shorten and balance for a hundy bu just hopen we could find something standard ya kno,that way if theres eva any issues we dont got wait for anuther to be modified and things become cheaper,cheers fweddy,maybe urs is a kjz78?i went through a wreckers yard this morning and found that code on a shaft measuring the same 825,i upose it could be utalised with a spacer but yeh,ill see what else people come up with before making a move either way,cheers again

30 bucks down here mate, shortened,balanced, cleaned and grease and painted :wink: that way you get the exact length you want. i got mine fully oversized with heavy wall truck tube, cleaned,painted, balanced for a hundy...think your guys ripping you a new one dude. sing out if you want it done and ill organise it for ya

oh for real,dam thats a mint deal,pity were in auckland tho,by the time we get it down then back up with frieght/ gas etc itll prolly end up the same,buga,ok well ill have a think and go from there,still hoping there maybe some other way,was really hopin id find something slightly under size and just make apprpriate spacer but yeh,thanks

My cruiser is a BJ74, not sure if there is a specific code on the shaft.
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.

oh thats ok fweddy,help much appreiated,if only i can find someone with a long wheel base,im thinkin thats my last chance before custom length shaft
