On the shelf at the back of my shed is a Chev to Landcruiser (5 speed ) bell housing, It was originally a 4 speed one but has been modified to take the 5 speed, this involved welding up one hole and re tapping it and adding a plate to bolt the clutch slave cylinder to, I have never used it but it was on a friend of mines #70 small block V8 5 speed cruiser.
$200 + freight if anyone is interested or it can sit gathering more dust.

DON'T SELL IT YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO USE IT,

FITZY.

i'm in upper hutt.
I'm under the impression between the four and five speed they're more of less the same bolt pattern.
I may be wrong though.
I've been trying to get my hands of a graham berry bellhousing for a while. Problem is they stoped making them along time ago unfortunatly.
I'd be very interested in disscussing a price if you are willing to part with the bellhousing mickey.
Cheers

I swapped a four speed to a 5 speed from a 60 series into my 40. Absolutely no difference in bellhousing or mounts. Just a but longer with the shifter a little futher back...

yea i thought as much for the conversion. Maybe just the length of input shaft that changes on some diesal models was my understanding.
