new surf

got a new projet surf its got ifs rear axle with welded diff and falcon springs in the rear and the rears in the front and its bob tailed and will be quite fun am planning on putting sum 33s on it and enjoying it BUT it dont got a donk so what is the best bet here i want a diesel but i want a reliable one so maybe not a 2.4 but 2.8s are quite expensive what else would fit with not much modding

why not just buy the 6m supra and duals that were going in the red truck? im no longer using them (unless something changes and i get carried away) and apart from welding in some new mounts everything is there for the conversion..

if i was gana go petrol i was gana put a rb25det or 30det as i got a few mates that build em but i like the economy of a diesel

yea fair point but anything long distance and it will be aframed or on a trailer so does economy really matter? you are still keeping ya cruiser aye? or are you hoping to get this built and road legal?

this will be my daily and fun truck. cruiser is being chucked aside and built up

ill have a 87 2.4 (2L) for sale soon (just gota get a wof then out with the old and in with the lexus)
will be a full conversion kit (starter alt flywheel gearbox if needed ect)
240k's goes well slow and realiable lol
