help surf rear axles

help surf rear axles

Hi have mate toyota in bits again :( :( have the rear axles out need to replace the bearing seal etc whats the easiest way looks like i need press and jigs does any one have one in chch i can use pref tomorrow (wed)

Don at The Machine Shop has all the gear specifically made to press apart my Prado axles and bearings. Tis very similar but not quite the same to your surf axles. They do however fit his press jigs.
Ring Don on 374 6184 or 0273495089. He also has various 8" toyota diffheads f/s.

Hi guys thanks for the advice did them this arvo at mate workshop all went well till the bearing broke while knocking out (has been broken for a long time buy the colour of it ) but got there in the end what a horrible set up in my opinon those little collars are little sh%$#t of things
