Hi guys, just got me a 91 3litre v6 surf to swap the body over to my yn 60 chassis with, currently rooted body.
Thinking i'm gonna do the wide axle swap as well, so... how easy/hard would it be just to swap the whole coil spring setup/rear diff over to the 60 chassis, or should i just stick to leafs and get some or these http://www.snr4x4.co.nz/spring-perches-hole-p-39.html ?
And, would the front hubs off this model surf work with the ifs hub swap with these? http://www.snr4x4.co.nz/snr-ifs-hub-spa ... p-236.html or should i just get some of these? http://www.snr4x4.co.nz/toyota-aluminum ... -p-11.html
Will have surplus bits for sale soon too.
Thanks in advance, Tim

Re: vzn130 body to yn60 chassis q's
if your looking at swaping over the whole coil setup thats going to require cert,if so wouldnt it make it easyer to chop the 2 chasis in half and take your current front with the coil rear and glue them together?may work out less effort, but will be a whole lot more than grinding off the trailing arm mounts of axle and welding on those new perches, thats exactly what ive just done to my brother n laws d21,hope that helps some what

Cheers for the reply, was thinking i would have to cert the body swap anyway? Might have to have a closer look when i swap the body's over. Was hoping that it would be nice and easy
Hmmm hadn't thought about swapping the whole rear end, will have to look into that as well.
