I reckon they are a good winch, and for the price you pay can't go past them.
Have one on mine and did waitapheta with the waikato churleaders and didn't miss a beat all day. Bit slow but other than that fantastic. Oh and i've got the ewx120000.

Personally id give these winches a go. By the time wed save up enough money for a warn winch or whatever 15 other things would come up and steel all the money away. Iv always gone cheep but done research first.
Once you have a winch you also need all the accessories like tree protector, pulley block shackles and gota mount and wire up, possible extra bigger batteries, alternator maybe I don’t know. All an expense.
So what if 2 years down the track your Chinese winch blows up. You still have had 2 years of having a winch instead of 2 years of pinning for a winch.
C if you can get a bulk deal.

Read DB's thread on the weapon.
He is a guy with plenty of 4wd experience, and has owned all sorts of winches. His thoughts on these so called "cheap, inferior" units comes from actually pulling down the winches and seeing how they are put together.
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!
