Wanted - Landcruiser Shackle hangers

Hi All,

I'm after the larger diameter Leaf spring mounts that take the larger bushes from the later model FJ40's or the 60 series Landcruiser.

Putting 60 series springs in the back of my truck but need the bigger hangers to replace smaller ones on my chassis shown in photo below:



If someone has some of these lying around let me know otherwise I'll have to get some made up. Cheers,

just put the smaller pin in there and the bigger one in the spring thats waht i did... but im a dodgy S.O.B and it worked fine

Had considered that - would have to grind out pin from top of shackle and replace with a smaller one... suppose that wouldn't be too bad a solution... Was hoping one of you boys who had done a rear coil conversion would have some lying around for me though

Did you do the same with the front of the leaves and just use some metal tubing to increase size of the fixed pin to size of the holes in the 60 series bushes?

i just made my own shackles with a bigger bolt in the bottom for the spring and a smaller one on the top

What about the front fixed pin? Did you use the old (smaller) fixed pin and a metal sleeve to get it up to the 60 series bush size? Also need to lever the mounts open wider to fit wider 60 series springs. Thinking I might look at that today.
