Yard clean out.

Post by Taz »

Is any of this any use to anyone? Got to make some room to get in the door to a project so I can start it! All of this museum collection is in Diamond Harbour. Delta's rego is on hold and the mostly hidden bigger van is a 1975 Toyota Hiace.

Also have an old Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II that will possibly be up for grabs in a few months. Was a daily driver but shes been off the road for approx 6 years, rego is on hold. I haven't given it a good going over in a long time but pretty sure its fairly rust free. PM me if you are interested in that.

Also have a Subaru Leone that has to go but its going to have to be taken out on its side as its kind of behind a bus and a house...going to leave that one till last! They make pretty good paddock bashers.

Is the Delta 4wd? I've heard they have common parts with the F75 Diesel Rocky/Rugger, may be useful for spares for someone if so....

The Delta is 2wd, which makes it pretty worthless haha. Cheers for that info though Jerry.

Looks like its all going to be scrapped. I'm not surprised but just seems like a waste.
Have no idea what to do with that stupid farking boat though.

I THINK its a boat. Bit hard to see with all the other shit piled in front, around and inside it

There is a few outboards and a jet unit kicking around to somewhere but those vans have gotta go before I get to the interesting stuff.

Is that an old hiace van as well, if so it'll have a 5:29 diff in it, racing guys want them they're worth good coin and rare as hell  , pull the complete rear end out of it and chuck it on trademe, biff the rest of the hiace though
I would be interested in looking at the boat parts including the jet unit

Good eye man. Cheers for the info.
Just mentioned it to my mate whos heading to the races this weekend so hopefully he finds someone interested.

Won't be doing anything about the boat gears till we get back in Feb, so will post some info about them in here before they go on trademe.

Hey. I've had a few PM's about the boat to so highest tender will get it. I'm heading over this weekend so I will take a few better photos, check out the reg status of the trailer, make sure I can't poke holes in it and then will let you all know.
If anyone interested is wanting/able to view it this Saturday or Sunday (Its in Diamond Harbour) they are more than welcome to.

G142 diff =( According to google thats a 4.875 open. Will pull the head if I get time.

I'm kinda of glad I'm not pulling the rear end out while its on the trailer though haha.

Also, had a nosey at the jet unit today as a neighbor came in and asked about it. The shaft seems to be seized so it will need a bit of work. I will get a picture of it tomorrow otherwise what other physical info about do you want?

Sweet. Will do.

Here are a couple more shots of the boat for those who asked. Needs a bit of work but is mostly sound. Trailer needs two new tyres and is pretty rusty. A guy up the road who restores older boats is pretty keen on it as he reckons there isn't many of this shape around any more and he thinks its repairable/cleanerupaerable.

I was a bit to busy to pull the cover off and actually climb in, but the floor was looking really good. The back wall will def need replacing though. I don't know any history about the motor sorry so just assume its poked.

Getting rid of more stuff/shit.

Some PTO pumps, hospital beds (great work benches) rotary hoes, scary boat and random tyres, sack barrows etc. Some on trademe now, more to come.

Bentley S2 to go on Tardme also once I find some help to value it.

Had a scrap metal truck in the other week. They made getting around a bit easier
