Pto winch oil??

Post by dawwen »

I once again ask for advise.
I'm aware certain types of oil can and cant be used in a toyota pto winch as it has brass gears.
The question is what can and cant be used.
I've been told by bnt redline lightweight shockproof can be used,
Is this correct.
I'm not keen on stuffing my winch after the time i've spent replacing seals etc.

Thanks for the help

I've just been using standard Hypoid 90 Gear Oil. Is that not good?
