ln130 independant front diffs

long story to cut short what is the plug on the back of the long shaft for.
just put a 4.8 open in the front of mrs truck and the old 4.5 had two vacume hoses and two plugs one on front one on back


the new one only has two vacume hoses and one plug on the front



can anyone help

rear plug is a over heat temp switch. is normally open so leave disconnected and your all sweet . Front plug is the 4wd indicator switch

just make sure the plug cant short out with water etc or 4wd computer will thinks its overheating and disconnect 4wd.
I cut the wires out further up the loom so it could never happen.
