WANTED : Suzuki SJ80 (Coily) Fuel Tank

Post by UBZ »

Looking for a SJ80 (Coily 96-98??) fuel tank .
Needed for a 13b EPI conversion as will fit a Vitara swimmer pump and bolt up to the 413 mounts

Surly some one has one lying around in their shed. any thing considered.

Cheers C.

No tank , but you can cut the pump out of a vitara one and weld it into the top of the samy fuel tank . Could be worth a look if you can't get a coily one .

Will have to mount one in an LJ80 tank when/if I get onto that project :)

yeah that would still be better than a external HP Pump IMO. less chance of leaning it out on angles

the beauty of the coily tank is that its got a in built in swirl pot and baffles.

Craig at mudbits or Te Pukre parts world,
only reson i used coily tank was because i had one,
you could mod your standard one by makiing surge box
and fitting vitara top ring, ofr complete vitara inner set up
a radiator shop would do this for you.

I just run a Honda external pump on mine (alloy fuel tank). Runs at all angles (had to switch it off when upside down after last rollover at Mercer trial). Cheap and easy to replace...

Otherwise try Mudbits.

   Fawk, be cheaper to buy a whole SJ80. And if you try mudbits, also try "seabits" and "cracka8" on TM, seems to be his bidding name to not show his selling username
