I have only owned it a couple of months and after having 3 of these I want to try something else.
Vehicle details:
Year: 1989
Make: Nissan
Model: Safari Grandroad Low roof LWB
Rego: FORGE1 (Plates Not Included)
Engine: TD42+T 224,000kms
Transmission: Manual (Professionally converted 12 months ago at a cost of $3,000)
Has a towbar can tow 3T no problem best tow vehicle I have owned.
It had a Turbo Dynamics kit fitted about 2 years ago which cost $4,000
I have rebuilt the front diff with all bearings and seals replaced.
All diff oils changed 2 weeks ago and engine oil and filters done at the same time.
I have spent $2,500 on the wagon since I purchased it just doing things like new grill, Rear shocks, swivel hub kit, sway bar bushes and disconnection unit, window regulators, running board and general maintaince.
It is a really good truck interior is nice but the boot area has a few stains from previous owner.
Issues of the wagon:
The speedo just recently started to play up by only working when it wants to work its not a major but can be anoying.
Front bumper is a bit rusty (common problem) and trying to find another 1 but having no luck.
Small amount of rust in the rear roof it did not affect WOF as it got that not long ago and it wasnt mentioned.
looking for around $12,000ono
I have spare parts as well.
Complete back doors, RR door complete, old grill and a few other bits.
PM if interested and will try get pics up ASAP.
or flick me a txt 021-111-6900
I have only taken it off road once and it was a shiny run so didnt even get to try it out proeprly.

Hey Mate,
Sorry it sold a few weeks ago.
The guy who brought it stripped the turbo off and sold it on TM (and someone on here brought it) and is now selling it again as a non turbo.

Yep I got the turbo, thanks for the reassurance on that Ray. I got the guys number if anyone still keen to buy in non turbo form, think he was asking 5k. If he ends up keeping it much longer it may end up being chopped into ute, got other chop job to sell first.
I planed the manifold and turbo inlet face today to fix exhaust leak, removed spark plug from dump pipe
and welded in fitting for pyro, getting new oil feed hose made so should be ready to fit soon.
See you looking for petrol Isuzu now, good idea.
cheers

Hey mate,
Sweet good to hear its getting all sorted and you will be towing your camper/caravan around no problem.
Yeah was looking at a bighorn petrol but couldnt find anything decent in my area and was a bit hard on my daughter (21months) to travel down to hamilton just to look at 1 and a 2.8TDi pajero poped up in town so I got that for a really good price but if I sell the pajero I will definately look at a bighorn again.
