Bugger - I was hoping you were going to say you were after a LWB. I am thinking of going back the other way (LWB -> SWB) and I think you enquired about my LWB before buying this.

So moving to Aussie for work? Less tax and better super. Oh yeah better climate as well.

All the best mate.

No worries, Like that pic of Jims DA RAM before he ute chopped it, lifted 6"s big feet, Seen some pics of Ute chopped LWB models in auz and they look real good.Be useful too, Miss my old Navara.Probably get another navara or ute chop a LWB over the ditch.cheers. Oh and heaps of people would disagree with me, but they reckon the best for offroad is a SWB with the rear end pushed back to a MWB.do it heaps in auz aparently

Yeah I really like the look of Da Rams truck pre chop. I was thinking of getting a LWB for the extra room but there seems to be more modded swbs around. What size are the tyres on your one?

33" Mongrels, I looked for a LWB for ages but couldnt find a decent one for under 10g and when Iz just going to chop it seemed alot of money to cut up.

Hi Fakey,

I went from a SWB to a LWB. Purely because I wanted the room for camping etc. Also I was sick of friends/family having to climb through to the back. I prefer the look of the SWB as it is so square. In saying that there are some very cool LWB ones around (good lift and big tyres they look mean). Now that I have a really good one I am thinking of changing again (could be an issue I have - never happy with what I've got :) ) I commute on a bike and am now thinking about getting a truck that will purely be a toy like a suzuki SJ413/samurai - who knows, after I change to a smaller truck I'll probably regret it

Cheers,
Blair

Adelaide aye, I hope you like afl. Good luck with the move, done it myself although only gonna be a few years, but the money here is far better than any jobs i was looking at in NZ. Heaps of modified LWB patrols over here, definitely a lot more than short wheel base.
