4.2 Non turbo

Hi Guys i am looking at (to buy) a crusier (91 LX MWB)with a 4.2 non turbo 6 cylinder diesel motor. Are there any issues with these motors that i should be aware of? Its running an auto behind it as well.Is this a good combo? i will be using this as a club truck. I would appreciate all relevent coments, good and bad.

dont know much about the non turbos, i have a 93 vx 4.2 turbo n goes bloody well. am selling it at the moment if you are keen. have done 50 mm spring lift with dobi coils and raw shocks, 50mm body lift, tjm front bar in black, custom rear bar, new 16x8 rims and 315/75r16 maxxis bighorn tyres, snorkle, rated tow hooks front n rear, detachable tow bar. this is all set and ready to go. pm me if you are interested. im in ashburton.

The 4.2 no turbo was an excellent engine that had none of the bearing issues that the early 4.2 turbo motor had. The only downfall is the sheer size and weight of them (if you count that as a problem)
