Have recently put some 265/75/16s on the surf, was running 245/75/16s and getting about 600k to the tank. Am now getting about 450k, is it supposed to be the bad? Didn't think I'd loose that much economy, cheers.

How many litres per 100km is a better way to measure your economy as so many different capicties of tanks.

have you recalibrated the speedo due to the larger tyres?

Havent worked the mpg out yet, but thought as most 185 surfs run 265/70's standard that it wouldnt make that big a difference. Haven't recallibrated the speedo but plan to go for a run with a gps on board. Ha if i was pulling 37's i dont think it would be a daily driver:) Cheers

% difference wise, my 90 series playdo was the same. Used to get 660 - 720 kms per tank with 265's, once the 285,s went on it went down to 550kms. Speedo is about 5% out as well.
