Surf interchangability- windscreen?

Post by rotordogg »

I've picked up a LN130 '90ish 4runner (Surf) recently, one of the things it need's is a windscreen!
I also have a older model LN61 surf at home for part's, Does anyone know if there interchangable??

Is there a FAQ somewhere for what can be swapped and what can't between the models??

Yip I've tried the search function and read through the toyota sticky...

Dogg.

I'm guessing its insured. And that means it will have glass cover (always tick that box) so if the windscreen got damaged while you owned it then you can just get a new one fitted. Of course I'm not suggesting you do this, but hypothetically if "you" broke it with a ladder or a massive stone from a truck going past broke it then its an insurance jobbie so would be free (most glass cover is zero cost to you)

Bought the truck as is, without windscreen, not insured yet cos it doesn't have a WOF or anything, So can't get it done under insurance...

Have PM'd H2OLOVA to ask him...
