did you know if you drill a hole in the floor of a Safari ..... green water pours out

spotted a 2 inch section of floor pan/firewall "loose" while under the truck this afternoon, thought bugger it ill just whack a quick rivet in it for now and weld the seam when i strip and replace the front seats. drilled though the floor and then green water came pi$$ing out WTF ..where'd that come from.....

ripped the carpet up to discover the rear heater pipes run smack bang in the center of the driver wheel
well ... what a stooopid place to put them

drill managed to catch the return pipe bang in the middle DOH!

took to pipes off .. jammed a couple of bolts down them to block them off and said

fuckt im' going home and the kids can freeze in the back.

Not exactly 4wd related, but.... We got our project Mini Clubman going again. A bit rough, but it goes. now All I need to do is get my daily driver Mini going, and warrented. Then get both Lada's going properly and warrented. Just one more exam to go, and I'm free to do what I want, in the big wide world...

Bent one of the arms coming off the rear of one of the Nissans diffs. Used our ground anchor to straighten it, because the tyre had been pushed into the guard.

Spent Saturday (nearly 6 hours) walking miles around a farm prospecting stages for the upcoming Superwinch Tuff Truck Winch Challenge (Norwest OHV). Found some really good tracks and challenging courses. Then went to Woodhill for a night run and got home just before 1am
Cooked my winch soliniod pack at the "Three Sisters" when I hooked up on a root in a big hole.......Bugger :!:

Ended up leading a group of about 8 trucks around Woodhill in the dark. One guy came to me and said "we'll follow you because you look a bit Tamer than the others"
Just about everybody got panel damage and a Jeep Cherokee blew his rear drive shaft universal joint :? :?
Did they not look at all the dents and scratches on my truck :?
A good night had by all.
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Don't worry, Simon. Soon I'll have the Fiva going, and we can both go places where a lot of the others can't... :D

Well I managed to wire my spot lights up properly this time. After a few headaches, a bruised leg and a broken grill its all done now. Now just got to get a front bar to mount lights on.

there is no point, it does not help the off road performance any. maybe later when I have spare money. But more ventilation is always good anyway.
