Alternator required, 1991 terrano td27

Friend is in need of an alternator,
Are there any variations in these?
Are Mistral ones the same?
who's got what?

what wrong with his? if only needing bearings/brushes do that but check the spline that drives the vacum pump they flog out.

long story made short, alt died, had it 'tested' and was told it was stuffed and unrepairable. Outfit that tested it offered to get rid of it for them. So they no longer have it.
But yeah most likely just needed a set of brushes ec.
